Martial Science Institute International
Martial Science Institute International (MSII) provides instruction so that people can enhance their quality of life through better health, breathing and healing techniques, stress reduction, and relaxation. MSII specializes in providing top quality instruction in Tai Chi Chuan (including Lao Yang Style and other styles of Tai Chi), Kiungo Cha Mkono (African Martial Arts), fitness and wellness for children and others, and stress management. MSII and its director, Mfundishi Olafemi A. Watangulizi (Samuel E. Johnson), teach primarily in the Chicago and Milwaukee metropolitan areas.
MSII was founded in 1996 when Mfundishi Olafemi A. Watangulizi attained the rank of Mfundishi, meaning Master Teacher/Warrior Priest, after 30 years of instruction and practice in the martial sciences, and over 20 years of teaching experience. Ongoing programs are currently held in the Chicago metropolitan area. In addition to these public classes at park districts, YMCAs, and community centers, MSII teaches private programs for schools and social service organizations. MSII is a division of QuieScience Sacred Science Temple (QSST). QSST is an organization that promotes personal development through the martial arts.
Martial Science Institute International acknowledges the martial science instruction provided by QuieScience Sacred Science Temple (QSST) and its founder, Nganga Mfundishi Tolo-Naa.
